As of January 2009, 2G Home is connected to the 2G GmbH group. The company sells, installs and maintains the micro-CHP Whispergen with 1 kW of electric power for domestic use. Many users of the "heating system“, that also „produces electricity", have already recognized the advantages of combined heat and power for domestic use and sucessfully operate their own micro-power plant.
