As of March 2011, 2G Italia S.R.L., based in Verona, Northern Italy, is a 100% subsidiary of the 2G Energy AG. In the past, 2G Energietechnik GmbH already supplied about 50 plants (as of spring 2012) to customers in Italy for a range of applications. Particularly high feed-in compensations within the Italian biogas market suggest continued strong growth in this area. Through its subsidiary in Italy, it is now possible for 2G Energy AG to recognize customer needs at an early stage and to further be able to provide services to customers based on the short distance to the plants. The close cooperation between local colleagues and the bilingual experts at the parent company in Heek, Germany, furthermore enables 2G Energy to offer their fundamental know-how and established technology to the young Italian marke
